A StewMac exclusive, this is the first half-ton arbor press to feature this innovative spring recoil. Pinion locking screw. Locks the caul down for clamping a glued-in fret (a handy feature suggested by luthier Bryan Galloup).

The Original Fractal Fret Press seamlessly integrates into a drill press, 3/8" arbor press, StewMac's Jaws 1, and Jaws 2 systems. The Bladed Fractal Fret Press is designed to fit a standard Fret Press Caul. This allows easy swapping between traditional inserts and the Fractal, giving you maximum flexibility with your existing tools.

Jaws2 is a professional fretting tool with a self-leveling upper caul that adjusts easily to any neck. It includes five interchangeable 2-1/2" brass inserts, grooved to fit over the fretwire crown. The inserts match popular fretwire radii: 7-1/4", 9-1/2", 12" and 16", and a special 6"-radius insert holds down the fret ends for gluing.

The Fret Arbor Press includes our versatile 24-3/8" x 3" table attachment with fence, for fretting unglued fingerboards. The table fence has a retractable indexing pin that works with the notches in our Dual Fret Scale Templates (sold separately).

Designed and refined by StewMac fretting experts. Four interchangeable 2-1/2" grooved brass inserts match standard fretwire radii (7.25", 9.5", 12" and 16"). The arbor has an adjustable steel pinion for firm pressure. Built-in lever return spring.

Our original handheld fret press! Jaws was developed by our own Dan Erlewine, a master teacher of fretting techniques. It gives you finer control over the pressure needed to seat a fret into the slot — you can actually feel it seating!

Hammering frets over an unsupported acoustic guitar top is risky! The Jaws2 Fret Press has special soundhole cauls and a self-leveling upper caul that take the stress off the guitar top, so you can safely press the frets into place.
