Stangvik[2] is a village in Surnadal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located along the Stangvikfjorden, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of the villages of Surnadalsøra and Skei.

Stangvik is a village in Surnadal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located along the Stangvikfjorden, about 20 kilometres southwest of the villages of Surnadalsøra and Skei.

Stangvik er et sogn i Surnadal kommune i Møre og Romsdal. Det ligger sørvest for Surnadalsøra og utgjør den vestre delen av kommunen. Sognet har 643 innbyggere (2015). Stangvik kyrkje, som ligger ved Stangvikfjorden, er en langkirke i tre fra 1897.

Frå gamalt av, då sjøen var hovedferdselsåra, var Stangvik eit sentrum på Nordmøre. På gamle kart som heng i både Vatikanet i Roma og på Ringve museum er Stangvik ein av dei ytterst få stedsnavna opptegna i midt-Noreg. i 1963 vart Stangvik kommune delt i tre, og vart ein del av Surnadal kommune.
