These are stores that sell food and supplies for horses, chickens, goats, etc. Apparently, Dry Stall is sold as an alternative to hay for horse bedding in stalls. The pumice absorbs water in the floor of the stall, and I guess horses like a dry floor. I like a dry floor too, so I can see why horses would like it.

2018年5月8日 · Dry-stall is pumice (or at least pumice-like, it just says lightweight volcanic aggregate), napa oil dry is diatomaceous earth. Cost doesn't really matter as both are inexpensive, although I'd prefer one with less dust/fines to sift out.

I posted a photo below of the dry stall I'm looking for. I think they may have went out of business. It was $20 for a 40 lb bag.

2013年1月17日 · I agree 100% with the above, having had similar experience. I would be careful using fertilizer cakes with 100% turface mixes as you can get some pretty bad crusting at the soil line leading to dry spots. I will say, however, that you can really develop great root systems on seedlings using 100% turface.
