St. George Anglican Church
Welcome to St. George Anglican Church! We exist to reach out with the love of Christ to the people of Auburn and beyond who desire to know God in spirit and in truth. As a worshipping community of Christians, we believe that our faith is both ancient and applicable to the challenges of today's world.
How We Worship - St. George's Anglican Church - stgac.org
At St. George's our worship is traditionally Anglican, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and 1982 and 1940 Hymnals. Our clergy vest in either cassock and surplice or alb and chasuble and our music is led by organ and choir.

Parish History - St. George's Anglican Church
The Parish is named for St. George of Cappadocia (ca A.D. 275/281 to April 23, A.D. 303), a Roman soldier and guard of Emperor Diocletian who was martyred for his faith. As one of Christianity's most venerated saints, he is forever immortalized in the mythic legend of St. George and the Dragon.
Welcome to St George's Anglican Church
St George’s Anglican Church uses the 1928 edition of The Book of Common Prayer and we encourage our members to develop a daily prayer practice that includes Morning Prayer (Matins) and Evening Prayer (Evensong or Vespers). Morning and Evening Prayer, known together as the Daily Office, are the most basic building blocks of Anglican life.
St. George's Anglican Church
We are shaped by traditional Anglican liturgy, music, and preaching. As Jesus taught us to pray, 'thy kingdom come,' we aim for compassion, justice, and community.
