Welcome to the City of Springville, Alabama Parks and Recreation Department! You can now register for our programs online and make your facility reservations online as well. Click the 'Account' link in the menu to set up your account for future registrations or facility reservations.

Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at (801) 489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be reset.

Springville City maintains many parks within the city limits and three parks in Hobble Creek Canyon. Reservations for pavilions and campsites may be made one year in advance. Springville City parks have 11 pavilions available for reservation.

There are certain facilities that can be reserved directly online. If you do not see your facility in the list below, you must contact Springville Parks & Recreation and reserve directly thru them. You must have an account to make online reservations. Once your account has been created, you may log in and reserve the facility.

Springville offers a wide variety of recreation activities whether it be a leisurely drive through the rural countryside via the Western New York Southtowns Scenic Byway or a rafting excursion through Zoar Valley’s 2,939 acres of spectacular scenery, Springville is a gateway to it all.

The Spring Acres Arts Park is named after the Spring Acres Race Track that hosted horse racing from 1947 to 1963. The park now hosts special events such as Art City Days, Movies in the Park, concerts and festivals. The Arts Park has an amphitheater, bleachers and restrooms.
