This is a curiosity question. I never race or stunt but I do enjoy a nice canyon ride about 1 or 2...

How high RPM do you cruise at? - Sport Bikes
2011年3月14日 · Tuned specifically for good low-end and mid-range power the 650R starts pulling at about 3000 rpm. At about 5000 rpm it starts pulling even stronger to about 7000 rpm – this is the sweet spot in the power curve.
Full Length vs. Short Levers Aftermarket Levers - Sport Bikes
2011年1月26日 · On my street bike I have a long clutch and a short brake... Pazzo levers. The clutch is heavy on my Aprilia so I went with a long clutch lever so I can still use all four fingers & get some decent leverage. On my race bike I have long/long. Thinkin about making the switch...cruiser to sport bike
2008年3月31日 · To the OP, if you caught the itch, it probably isn't going away. I started on a sport bike, and added a cruiser (V-Rod) after about a year and a half. Loved the bike, but try as I might, it sat in the garage while I rode my Suzuki. There's just no comparison, if you can be comfortable and responsible on a sport bike, cruisers have little to offer.
Poor idle, but only when warm? - Sport Bikes
2007年3月24日 · It feels like the bike is misfiring until ~3000 RPM, for instance if I'm cruising along at 20 mph in high gear it'll jerk exactly like it's misfiring; after 3000 rpm or so it's as smooth and powerful as ever all the way up to the rev limiter. However, this only happens after the bike has warmed up.
Unintended wheelie: how to avoid? - Sport Bikes
2008年6月14日 · My old bike had clip-ons. That's one reason why I like this bike so much, is the comfortable upright riding position. I suppose it has its drawbacks too, though. But it's plenty nimble for me with the stock touring bars--I'm no Nicky Hayden--and I like being able to ride the bike all day without my back complaining. I have NO desire to move up ...
