One morning, SpongeBob wakes up to find out that Gary is missing and soon discovers that he is the only one left in all of Bikini Bottom. At first, he finds this hard to take. In a panic, he runs around town in a desperate attempt to find anyone, but to no avail.

He thinks that Squidward and Patrick are still sleeping, and decides to head to work. When he comes to the Krusty Krab, he stands next to the stove, only to find that there were no customers all day long.

SpongeBob had started to notice that his friends, or say, all of Bikini Bottom had gone missing. That was in the episode's final version as well. Except, instead of him saying he would live out the lives of the people living in Bikini Bottom, he started to panic and run around the city, after being alone for quite a bit.
