FANTASTIC Spike was crowned as the 2024 TAB SA Greyhound of the Year at the annual awards ceremony held at Angle Park on Friday night. Trained by Liz Chegia, Fantastic Spike was awarded the crown in a tight vote count ahead of the Ben Rawlings-trained Pet Detective and short-course star Cash On Delivery, trained by Cameron Forshaw.

Spike is a 9 year old greyhound/coonhound mix. He is very laid back and is happiest when he can be snuggled up next to one of his human family members. Spike is a total love and a mush!! He is housetrained, up to date in all shots and very low maintenance. Spike does like to be allowed on couches to sleep the day away.
