Sudak (Ukrainian and Russian: Судак; Crimean Tatar: Sudaq; Greek: Σουγδαία; sometimes spelled Sudac or Sudagh) is a city, multiple former Eastern Orthodox bishopric and double Latin Catholic titular see.

In 1475, after a long siege, Soldaia was captured by the Ottomans (with the help of Crimean Tatars), annexed and renamed Sudak; it lost its commercial importance but retained its strategic position. Some Christians left the city; others converted to Muslim faith.
