2023年6月30日 · Do you need 99 smithing right now? My guess is probably not. What I did was use proteans over 3 DXP's as they were essentially "free". If you can afford to hit the next protean level via actual smithing it might be worth doing so but trying to get the 99 via non-proteans alone is expensive and time consuming.

2021年10月21日 · I've been mining rune and luminite (I have about ~2k of each rn). I wanted to train smithing with this, as its free xp and I'm a tight arse. I was planning on smelting these into rune bars and then into something else. Whatever I smelt them into, I want to maximise both xp and money gain. I'm currently 75 mining and 65 smithing, on f2p.

2022年9月12日 · Should be about 400k/hr mining + 450k smithing/hr overall. Of course this isnt sustainable all the way to 120 for most so yeah as others said, elder rune is best by a lot without stone spirits. From the math I've seen for Elder rune without spirits vs Banite with spirits, the math still shows elder rune is far better.

2023年1月20日 · IF you have smithing autoheater + lightform, doing elder rune gauntlets & boots +5 from bars is comparable profit to doing plate bodies, BUT boots/gloves take like 1/5 the time of platebodies, so you can afk them without worrying about re-heating your furnace (like you would have to with platebodies, or suffer xp efficiency)
