污油舱（slop tank），一般是油船上或散装运输有毒液体的液货船上，用以收集洗舱水和其他油性混合物或残余物和水混合物的舱。 按规定400总吨及以上船舶应设置有足够容量的舱柜，用来接收不能以其他方式处理的残油或油渣。

Oil analysis (water content, sediment) is performed on the separated oil in the slop tanks (second group) before sending it to the fuel product tank. Oil that does not meet the standards is drained into the sewers. This plugs the sewers and increases the housekeeping problems in the area.
