2017年4月10日 · I didn't tear up at all, but the sense of loss, plus the swelling of awe and pride in Skurge's ultimate viking exit, plus shock in just how much his heroic death meant to me in that instant, when he had always been a huge joke--all of it put me in a weird, thoughtful place, the way that poetry is supposed to do when it really speaks to you.
Anyone think Skurge was awesome in Thor: Ragnarok?
I LOVED Ragnarok but personally felt that Skurge was the weakest part of the film. It was blatantly obvious he would go down the redemption arc. I was kinda hoping they would throw me a curveball and have him die as a villain instead of earning redemption.

They are part of Skurges arc and it is obvious that placing them at the front of the refugees on the rainbow bridge, drawing weapons to face Skurge is a very purposeful decision.
