Skaar is the son of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong, and Hiro-Kala twin brother. After Caiera's death, a cocoon containing Skaar fell into the lake of fire. After a period of time, Skaar emerged from the cocoon, appearing to be the age of a human boy.

In the comics, Skaar is a son of Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong, who was conceived when Hulk was stranded on Sakaar. He was exiled to Earth by his mother, where he attempted to kill Hulk and had altercations with the Fantastic Four.

Born fighting for his life amidst fire and pain in the savage world of Sakaar, the half-Hulk, half-Shadow warrior Skaar raises an angry sword against those who threaten his people and desires the power to destroy his enemies.
