2017年5月7日 · Out of universe: Looks like whole idea of Sith temple was quickly cobbled up together for the finale of Rebels season 2. They needed to re-introduce Maul, and get rid of Ahsoka and Inquisitors, so they created one-time plot device of Sith temple on Malachor. Malachor is of course known from Legends, but Sith temple on it was not.

2021年10月17日 · It seems likely that the site of the Temple was either chosen because it had a dark influence (noting that the Jedi temple on Coruscant was also built on top of an ancient Sith Temple) so that they could more readily explore the dark side of the Force, or simply that it had become imbued with dark influences as they explored their own Force ...

2015年8月23日 · The theme is used again in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith to introduce the planet Kashyyyk prior to the battle there, and again when Darth Vader attacks the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during Operation: Knightfall. Here it is on YouTube:

At least one confirmed occasion, as seen in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Palpatine visited the Jedi Temple. This occurs after Order 66, “all” of the Jedi have been wiped out after Mace Windu’s posse’s coup d’etat attempt, and Anakin Skywalker cleanses the Jedi temple on Coruscant of any anti-Emperor insurrectionists.

2016年1月18日 · For instance, there is an ancient Sith shrine beneath it, and the Jedi didn't know about it. According to the book Tarkin , part of the reason the Jedi fell was because the dark side power lingering in the Sith shrine seeped up into the Jedi temple and weakened them.

2016年3月6日 · The 501st was outclassed and being driven out of the temple until Darth Vader killed Cin Dragllig and most of the other temple guards. In canon it's unclear what's happened as there's a few Jedi in legend that was slaughtered alongside the temple guards which survived order 66 thanks to Disney remaking what's cannon and not.

2017年10月27日 · the temple is built on the top of a lavafall. During Revenge of the Sith, near the end of the Darth's battle with Obi-wan, they fight on a lavafall. It seems to make sense that he would choose to build a a temple near this location, so he could overlook the spot where his transformation took place.

2016年4月4日 · The temple was built long before the dawn of the Banite Sith Order. Ahsoka mentioned that it was built "thousands of years ago". The defeat of the old Sith order, the birth of Darth Bane's Sith Order of the Rule of Two, and the establishment of the Galactic Republic was approximately one thousand years before the Clone Wars.
