2020年6月3日 · The P245 was a compact model with the stamped carbon steel slide and has long been discontinued. The more modern equivalent with the solid milled stainless slide is the P220 Compact (6+1 rounds). It too has been discontinue a while but will be easier to find parts.

2013年9月19日 · Found this LNIB P245 at my LGS marked for $500. Mfg. date: FEB05, slide marked "made in Germany", no markings on frame other than S/N. Sig CS told me that the 245 frames were never manufactured in Exeter, but I strongly suspect this one was assembled in Exeter at the end of the 245 production as part of the 110 "Gun of the Month" run.

2023年3月19日 · You can see that the fore-lug on the P245 is oriented farther back; the slot (between the feed ramp and the inner edge of the fore-lug) seems shorter on the P245. And, if you look at the guns assembled, the point at which the takedown lever passes through the frame occurs a bit farther back on the P245 vs. any of the P220 variants.

2021年11月8日 · The P245 is kind of a unique gun (like the original P225, and P230/P232), and is probably for a "unique" SIG owner. By that I mean a collector that doesn't want the average/ordinary SIG. If you've already got a bunch of SIGs and you want something unique, then the P245 is a good option.

2015年6月5日 · IMHO, the P245 is an excellent example of the classic P-series design with the folded carbon steel slide in a size, weight and caliber that works very well for CC. Unless the round count is well north of 5000, I wouldn't think spring replacement would be necessary.
