Richmond Local Studies Centre at the Old Town Hall has a rich treasure trove of the School’s memorabilia from the opening of East Sheen Grammar School and subsequently. It is hoped that this site will enable Shene Old Boys to keep in touch around the world.

Shene Old Grammarians FC has been established for over 50 years and runs four teams in Europe's biggest football league: The Amateur Football Combination. We also field a Veterans' (Over-35) team in various competitions and friendly matches.

Shene Grammar always had high aspirations for its pupils and generally succeeded in fulfilling them. 1962 was no exception, with many of my contemporaries achieving excellent results which would see them into universities and, no doubt, on into successful careers.

From 1969 – 1976 I was in the newly formed 6th form college at the school. From there, I went to University of London, Goldsmiths College to study art, then to Kingston Polytechnic, as was, to study graphic design. I joined Thames TV and Channel Four as a graphic designer.

In 1957, Richmond and East Sheen County Grammar School for Boys became known simply as Shene County Grammar School for Boys, using the Anglo-Saxon spelling of the name for Richmond previously adopted by the Old Boys' society. [5]

The School changed its name to Shene County Grammar School for Boys in 1957. With the end of selective education, the grammar school took its final intake of boys in September 1972, and the sixth form expanded to become Shene College in 1973. 2015年2月18日 · Founded over 50 years ago by alumni of Shene Grammar School – now Richmond Park Academy – the team occupy the site at Barn Elms where the students used to play. They compete in the Amateur Football Combination – reportedly Europe’s biggest league.
