Shemirān (Persian: شمیران, pronounced [ʃemiːˈɾɒːn]) [a] is the capital of Shemiranat County, Tehran Province, Iran, but is actually located just north of the borders of Tehran County along Chamran Expressway and Sadr Expressway and it is the northernmost district of the city of Tehran.

Shemiranat County (Persian: شهرستان شمیرانات) is in Tehran province, Iran. [3] . Its capital is Tajrish. [4] After the 2011 National Census, six villages merged in the establishment of the new city of Shemshak. [5] At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 37,778 in 11,178 households. Imamzadeh Saleh (Persian: امامزاده صالح, romanized: Imāmzādeh Ṣāleh) is a imamzadeh mosque in Iran. The mosque is located at Tajrish Square in Tehran's northern Shemiran district.
