Stian Tomt Thoresen (born 18 November 1976), [1] [2] [3] known professionally as Shagrath, is a Norwegian musician. He is the vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and a founding member of the symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir and Also, founding member, rhythm guitarist and bassist of Chrome Division .

2024年8月15日 · Thoresen founded Dimmu Borgir in 1993, and he is best known as their vocalist although he can also play guitars, drums, keyboards, and bass as he does in many of his other projects. The name Shagrath is taken from an orc (actually named Shagrat) in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings", in which he commands over the tower of Cirith Ungol.
