Sesheke is a border town in the Western Province of Zambia, in a district of the same name. It lies on the northern bank of the Zambezi River which forms the border with Namibia's Caprivi Strip at that point.

Sesheke District is one of the sixteen (16) districts in Western Province of Zambia. The capital lies at Sesheke. As of the 2022 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 72,655 people. [1] It contains part of Sioma Ngwezi National Park and contains part of the Zambezi River, which forms part of Zambia's border with Namibia.

Sesheke District is situated in the southern end of Western Province. It shares international boundaries with Namibia to the south and Angola to the west. The District shares district boundaries with Sioma, Senanga, Mulobezi and Mwandi Districts. Its 20% Urban and 80% Rural with a high rate of unplanned urbanization.

Sesheke actually consists of two small towns located on opposite sides of the Zambezi. The bigger town is on the east side, reached by driving from Livingstone, or taking the pontoon over the river.
