2022年1月7日 · Minecraft server are mostly single threaded. So you would need about 10 threads (5 Cores) to run the server as effective as possible. So a octacore should be more then enough. In case you are not running a large network measured by player count or have huge farms you are fine with a less powerful CPU. Even a Server CPU can fit you well.

2020年9月25日 · If you want to make a Minigame Network where you run 10,15,20 or more Server on one machine you should use a CPU with more Cores. Im currently running around 17 Server ( Survival, Skyblock and the rest are small minigames like bedwars or skywars ) and im using an AMD Ryzen 3900X.

2019年7月19日 · Well i dont think this scales so direct. I had up to 12 plays and it lagged with 2.1Ghz now with 4Ghz it dosnt lag even when 30 players are online. Yes you could run multiple server but each server on its own would again problems if all players on the same server etc

2019年12月6日 · As the Minecraft server doesn't make use of many CPU cores, although multiple parts are multithreaded, the main game loop is still bound to one main thread. I suggest sending us some timings to see where your TPS drop is coming from or switching to Paper if not already
