2011年3月24日 · IMO, if a person wishes to use a choke collar to correct during initial training that's their prerogative, but by the time they step into the Novice ring the dog should be capable of performing / passing the excercises without this. Plus, a handler is not permitted to correct their dog during the run anyways, so it does appear to be rather useless.

While someone might think the dog could hit the end of the rope, they might not think about the dog flipping over. Or they think of the dog getting tangled but not about hitting the end of the rope etc.

2013年11月23日 · I had them replaced when I went to the Amish tack shop. I asked the owner if he could make a dog collar out of the biothane strap material he had on rolls. The biothane was 3 inches wide and the buckles he put on was heavy duty. He made it to order and only charged me ten dollars for the collar. Well worth it.
