Sellita - What's the Rub? | Omega Watch Forums - Omega Forums
2020年10月20日 · My understanding is Sellita was an outside contractor to ETA, producing ETA movements and parts. They did this for years until Swatch Group took over, eventually changing the relationship with outside contractors. Sellita, being all ready equipped to make ETA movement paired with the expired patents, continued to make "ETA" movements.
Am I a SELLITA CALIBER SW200-1 Snob - Omega Forums
2023年12月31日 · The only watch I have ever owned which had a persistent fault (sticking reversing wheels), and was returned for a full refund, had the SW200-1 movement. As a result I wouldn’t touch another watch with that movement and it’s put me off Sellita in general, thought I understand there other movements are better.
Sinn 356: Valjoux7750 or SellitaSW500 Help & Thoughts
2017年7月22日 · In the not too distant past Sinn stopped using the Valjoux 7750, and put a Sellita SW500 inside instead. I'm still not sure of the reason for the change. Here are some of the questions I have, and I am hoping some of our watchmakers( @Archer @ChrisN @Tmorehouse51 @JimInOz ) can chime in as well if they have any experience with both …

2020年10月23日 · OP, along the same vein, Omega too had their share of issues when incorporating the Co-axial in their 2500, 3603 etc movements, which themselves utilised robust movements from ETA/Lemania/F. Piguet.

2022年12月7日 · Chrono24 recently posted a very insightful interview with Sebastien Chaulmontet of Sellita. Worth a watch, especially if you've got any misperception that Sellita is just a clone ETA.
My Experience With Chronometer Testing and Certification
2022年9月11日 · Sellita offers their movements in several grades, Special (Elabore), Premium (Top), and Chronometre. The primary difference between Premium and Chronometre is the precision in which the movement is regulated for the average rate, max positional rate difference, and isochronism tolerance.
Hublot - bit of a surprise | Omega Watch Forums
2020年5月25日 · This was a time and date only movement, and after doing some research it seemed that they may use some Sellita movements, namely the SW300, which is a clone of an ETA 2892. But I could not find a movement specification for the specific model number this one was, so when I expressed my doubts, my client suggested that if I get it open and can't ...
METAS results versus real world performance - Omega Forums
2019年4月18日 · As this is a new movement, perhaps it still needs to run in for a while and performance will change? I have had many watches with ETA and Sellita movements and they usually run a bit slower over time. It is pretty close to METAS test results on my timegrapher and doesn't change all that much when changing positions.
sinn 556 - quite possibly the best all around sport/dress watch for …
2019年9月16日 · Sinn is far and away the superior product. As for the Hammy being more rugged, I take issue with that as well. The Sinn is made of better steel and it has 200m water resistance. One thing that I will say is that it has always bothered me that watches costing over $1000 are outfitted with ETA 2824 movements, and more recently the Sellita clones.
