Schlatt is a satire character of a hyper relgious conservative. If he was actually like that, a good portion of the people he's friends with and collabs with wouldn't be his friend or collab with him.

Not only because Schlatt and Astrid are good friends, but because his persona of a "rich, boisterous conservative catholic New Yorker" is largely just that, a persona. Watching his the daily slap podcast he's had for years now, it's clear that behind all of that stuff he's a normal person with a good heart.

I believe he is, but he's also playing it up for the "Schlatt" character, like everything else he's done so far outside of the weekly slap. Either way, it's got no effect on us. If he follows God, neat. If he doesn't, neat. Do what you gotta do to feel happy in this life, don't let someone else's beliefs dictate your happiness.

2021年11月1日 · From what I've been able to gather over the last few days in my free time, Minx is in Texas for Envy, Minx and Schlatt have been hanging out in person fairly frequently with other friends, and it seems from a few clips I've seen from some streams that Schlatt and Minx are living in the same house/building as each other.

People that schlatt often interacts with and has treated with so much respect before (esp his emote artists). I do think that this situation was different because it got to a point where Ty, one of Schlatt’s close buddies made a comment about how that kind of content just disappointed him and he even said that he texted him about it.
