2017年3月19日 · This is probably just beating a dead horse, but I'm trying to decide on the best model of ACOG to put on my SCAR 17. I have two other rifles for long distance shooting (7mm mag and a 270) so I'm not really in need for my SCAR to be a long distance rifle. I shot one of my buddy's SCAR 16 with an ACOG, but his reticle was Chevron without any BDC.

2024年11月1日 · With a standard 4x32 ACOG and a decent rifle, if you know what you're doing you'll be 2-3 MOA accurate, maybe a little bit better. I use my ACOG on a 20-inch AR primarily for Appleseed Known Distance events, where we're shooting at 20-inch targets at distances from 100-400 yards in the standing, seated and prone positions.

2021年7月12日 · I have a TA-11 ACOG (3.5x35) on my SCAR 17S, it’s the one calibrated for .308 and works well in my experience especially for 50-200 yards. They make the TA-11 with a .308 BDC in all of the standard colors in addition to the chevron, horseshoe, and crosshair reticles.
