2014年10月5日 · First off, I ordered my OSS with the Scar 17-specific Flash Hider Muzzle Break (FHMB). Most 7.62 rifles use the standard FHMB that comes with the OSS 7.62 system, but OSS makes a special FHMB designed specifically for the Scar 17. I believe the reason for this is the very thin shoulder on the barrel of the Scar.

2015年1月21日 · Both have crummy factory triggers although the MR 762 trigger is somewhat better than the SCAR 17S trigger. Both need Geissele triggers. But the HK trigger is $150 more. The MR 762 is head and shoulders more accurate than my SCAR 17S. Consistently shoots groups ~ 0.75 moa sometimes better. The SCAR 17S hard to shoot consistent 1 moa groups.

Flash hiders are A-ok on the SCAR 762 family of weapons. No OEM lock nut is to be used when mounting a flash hider/suppressor QD mount on the SCAR 762 family of weapons.

2015年1月5日 · If I was doing casual shooting at a range or a shoot my choice would be the MR 762. Below are two groups (5 shots @ 100 yards) on the same day. One is from my POF P-308 the other the MR762. The group from the MR 762 is the best I have ever gotten from a semi 308 including my LaRue OBR.

2024年7月12日 · My SCAR 17 runs just fine on the suppressor setting with both a Surefire SOCOM (original) 762 suppressor and a Surefire SOCOM RC2 762K suppressor (the shorter one). I find that I do not need to change the gas valve assembly or gas jets on mine.

2014年11月6日 · Thank you for your questions regarding the Saker 762, and a SCAR 17. Due to the barrel diameter of the SCAR 17 barrel, you will not be able to properly install our muzzle brake, however the Flash Hider should work great. As always, you will want to inspect for concentricity prior to shooting with the suppressor attached.
