Saqqez (Persian: سقز; English: / s æ ɡ ɛ z / sa-ghez; Persian pronunciation: [sæɣˈɣez]) [a] is a city in the Central District of Saqqez County, Kurdistan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.
