My sand bed is about 2 years old and I’m starting to have less time to keep it cleaned, so thought about getting a hardy goby. Thank you so much.

2015年11月28日 · As the title suggest I am planning to get a sand shifting goby for my 20 gallon reef tank. Thus far it is stocked with a pair of Ocellaris Clowns. I am thinking about getting a Diamond Watchman Goby, but am worried it might be to large for the tank.

2019年10月29日 · I have a diamond goby and my sand is 1-2mm. The difference with a sand sifting verse pistol shrimp goby is the sand sifting puts the sand in its mouth and sifts through its gills to get food out. If the sand pieces are too big it can’t get it through its gills.

2014年2月19日 · the sand=sifting gobies go by a bunch of different names. I think they're usually called sleeper gobies, but are often called watchman gobies as well. The species I had, Valenciennea puellaris, I think is usually called the diamond watchman goby, but I don't think it normally pairs with a pistol shrimp

2021年6月16日 · Looking for a good sand sifting fish that won't cause a windstorm in my 32g tank. From research, the Orange Crosshatch Goby, Tiger Watchmen Goby and the Orange Spotted Goby seem to be the best choices for my size tank. Please chime in and let me know if you prefer either of these over the other or have a better option for a sand sifting fish.
