I once spoke to the owner of SAGE in mid-2019 about making the unique Mk 14 Mod 2 'straight back' connector piece, and he said a minimum of 50 units was needed to justify setting up their fixtures/jigs and manufacturing processes.

2024年5月4日 · So the new owners have to presumably set up everything at their new location and re-start production, along with new employees, etc, so it’s not like SAGE International is running anything at this point re chassis systems or EBR parts. I might speculate that SAGE made their last EBR chassis in 2022 or so, but that’s just a guess.

2008年1月21日 · I currently have a Bula XM21 in a Sage EBR M14 ALCS chassis with an 18.5" medium weight Bula NM barrel. It handles very well and accuracy is also good. I like this combination because of the integral Bula scope mount rail. That being said, I also have a more conventional 22" GI profile barreled rifle in an M14 ALCS chassis and it is very accurate.

I am currently using picatinny rail basset scope mount that I am able to use the iron sight. I was just told that I am not able to use the basset mount and I am looking for one with option to use an iron sight as well.
