
Whats the saddest and most tragic anime u have ever watched?
2022年9月8日 · I am really into sad animes with a very dark theme ,but cant find much , please help. By sadness i mean people loosing their families children loosing their parents , parents loosing their children ,suicide , slavery , blood and gore and a lot of tragic turns.

Many sad anime have uplifting or happy messages beneath them which result in them not being depressing. Oyasumi punpun is kind of a sad Manga, but it gets an 11/10 on the depressing/melancholic meter.

But I kid you not you WILL CRY in the last 2-3 episodes. It's the journey that matters. There's also many other good anime with a sad ending but most of them have already been recommended

Yeah, the title, "Komm, Susser Todd" literally means "come sweet death" and the entire song is about suicide. Maybe its not a song that would make someone as sad as those associated with certain sad anime, but in terms of sad songs it would be my number 1 too.

Haibane Renmei starts slow, gentle and melancholic, but is just a facade of its endless fall and a continuous feeling of loss, hopelessness and sorrow.

I don't find Clannad ED1 sad at all. It's literally about a big, happy family. The theme is reused in sadder tones, sure, and After Story's OST is sorrowful, but still.

Diebuster gets pretty good at the end but definitely nowhere near as sad as Gunbuster, in my opinion. Gunbuster's last three episodes are absolutely perfect and give me chills everytime, specially episode 6, which is a masterpiece.
