However, in bonding mode you only turn on (connect to) bonding and not stream SRT/RTMP at the same time. From the bonding server you restream to SRT and/or RTMP. Where the server can be the SRT listener since it has a public IP address.

2024年5月17日 · I would like to have the ability to add SRT input as and Instant Replay camera. For example, if you have 4 camera (remote) production of an event which does not require prefect sync, you can bring in all the cameras using SRT fixed latency and them being relatively in sync. And then add them directly to Instant Replay as well.

If you are connecting to FOX you would be the caller and need the URL of their end point (IP address and port), and you type that into vMix under External Outputs, as the caller, you do not need to open or forward a port in your firewal

2024年10月15日 · The problem with vMix supporting interlaced OVER SRT (note the difference) has to do with vMix handling already interlaced signals that use SRT as a means of transmission. As I learned, this is a problem at the decoder level on vMix that is not easy to solve.

2020年5月15日 · The SRT transmission from my iPhone/iPad to the VMIX systems is fine, the glass-to-glass latency is sub-second, so I have a really good results. The other direction is more problematic: SRT transmission from VMIX output to your iPhone or iPad. I don't know why, but the "glass-to-glass" latency is more than 1 second.

2025年1月2日 · I need to use vMIX as a multi srt encoder to transmit videos to a remote location outside our studio. I created 4 external output enabling srt as caller mode on my vMIX in the studio. It works, on my local lan with VLC I can play all 4 streams using the IP of the windows workstation hosting vMix and the right SRT port.

2020年5月4日 · The current issue that we're facing is that an incoming SRT stream from a video server to VMix is showing lots of jitters and skipped frames. The SRT connection from the server to the same computer is solid because it has been ingested into VLC with perfect smoothness while Vmix continued to be choppy simultaneously.
