2019年4月20日 · SCP 173 for me represents a greater role than just the seed of the tree we enjoy and cultivate today; it set precedent for the key components of what makes an effective horror in this collaborative fiction. Of course, all of this is subjective and just how I see things, but I figured it would be an interesting discussion to have otherwise.

2022年5月27日 · The image of SCP-173 however belongs to the artist who made the statue, and so doesn't fall under Creative Commons. Because of that, when other projects use 173, they have to redesign it, because they aren't actually allowed to use the statue's likeness.

There is a test log from SCP-173-j that has a D class die after trying it, which is where I assume everyone on these posts (variations of this question have been asked an astounding amount of times) who say they read that somewhere is remembering it from.

As for dates: One imagines there was a promo for "Blink" after the June 2nd Dr. Who episode ("Family of Blood") that would've given away enough of the concept to inspire SCP-173.

There was some discussion about whether the object could consciously direct the production of the blood and faeces that appears in its vicinity, and whether it was sapient enough to deliberately sabotage the cleaning systems.

2020年5月26日 · When i discovered SCP 173 there was an Entry where SCP 173 began to multiple and destroy North and South America. It was then labled as Keter and as an XK-Class Event. The last Entry of that Event is about a sighting in Wales, England.
