2003年9月2日 · I currently have a 1996 sc 300 AUTO. I'm currently pondering upon a 1jzgte AUTO(from a 2jzge) swap. Would I need the entire front clip? or would parts from my front still fit on it. Also I heard there are different versions of the 1jzgte engine (VVT, rev limitations, trac. control) which one would be a sound choice.

2011年2月3日 · I have all the pinout i need for the sc300, my harness is already extended and i am already tracing the wires from the chaser harness to pin them in the sc300 connectors... that was my lazyness not to buy and wait for the manual to come in couple weeks to start doing my shit when i can find it for free and fast.

2009年4月22日 · This is a Sc300 swap so there's a resistor in the back of the cluster that you bypass, and that didn't work. I also tried a msd tach adapter and that didn't work.

I have 10+ years of experience tuning 2jz and 1jz cars. They’re a wise choice and the SC300 really transforms into a great car after power/suspension/brake upgrades. You can even turbocharge the older non-vvti 2jz-ge engines because they have stronger connecting rods than the vvi 2jz-ge motors.

2004年2月24日 · The 1JZ, 2JZ-GE, and 2JZ-GTE can all make 400+ whp reliably, if it's TT internals you want then you can swap the rods and pistons into your GE block, or just buy a new TT short block from Toyota, it's the best bang for the buck out there.
