2020年12月15日 · There is a shaft chart on this site that helps answer this (see below), but to briefly summarize, a hard stepped s300 is still softer than a soft stepped x100. I play soft stepped x100s (amt version) now, have played s300, x100 (regular and amt), DG 120 x100s ctaper 120, ctaper 130, and project x 6.5.

2013年11月30日 · With S300, a fade (for me) was difficult and/or random. FWIW, I played S300 for most of my youth, Project X 6.0 flighted for one season, Project X 6.0 non-flighted for half a season, KBS Tour S (hard-stepped) for one season, KBS C-taper S for one season, and X100 for the last season and a half.

2021年4月8日 · The XP 115’s are similar to the DG 120’s I didn’t notice a change from hitting a DG 120 x100 and a DG 120 s300. I only hit them with a Mizuno MMC 7 iron, but didn’t see a difference. I preferred the DG 120 s300 because I didn’t have any blocks right (I had 2 with the 120x that just didn’t draw, not awful, just a bit right) .

2014年6月22日 · I just played a set of MP-4's with XP 105 S300's this morning. I wasn't thrilled with the feel on the range but on the course they were ridiculous. Hit 13 greens and some amazing shots. The greens are running around 9-10 here in AZ due to the heat so putting wasn't any fun but shot 75 with a triple and I'm putting these bad boys in the bag.

2021年8月6日 · The X100 and S300 shafts are different bend profiles so I wouldn't use them as A and B points to compare anything between. At best I would liken the 120 version to the original soft stepped once, which is an extremely minor change.

2022年7月14日 · Had the AMT s300 and they were decent in a set of z785’s. Moved onto a set on jpx 921 tours with the $ tapers and dispersion is way down ball flight is higher and there is no problem launching the 4 and 5 iron. With the AMT’s you could really feel how light the long irons were in comparison to the wedge and it threw my timing and feel off.

2019年12月16日 · I'm taking a look at the AMT Red vs AMT Black in S300. Looking at the True Temper shaft diagrams, the step patterns, tip lengths, and butt lengths are identical. Is it wall thickness that makes the Black the heavier shaft, and is that also how Black is a slightly lower trajectory and spin shaft?

2021年7月23日 · Here's the deal. PX 6.0 will launch lower than KBS Tour but higher than S300. Tempo doesn't matter as much as the fitter stated for steel shafts. The flight, spin and numbers do. Feel is subjective, but to me, the best feeling shaft is the KBS Tour then S300 then the PX 6.0.
