2011年5月29日 · It's well known that the s3 brakes are better than the s2 stuff, but what I've been trying to research is how. From my previous posts on the MRC its clear the rear brakes use different brackets on the axel, different calipers and different pads.

2003年12月2日 · Series 2 is the better car to buy cause you can run better flowing exhaust and still be legal. S3 tiped in at the point of "archaic" noise restrictions. Stuff like brakes and running gear are in too weak to handle serious 13BT power. The diffs are nice, but I have proved a S2 diff can take "decent power" when fitted with a race LSD.

2003年7月15日 · I am just looking at this for my s2 rx7 too. The route I've chosen is to upgrade the fronts only, and rebuild the rear calipers. For my steet car there is limited benefit for the expense in upgrading rear, when like 80% of braking is by front wheels.

2006年7月16日 · I'm looking at putting an fd box behind my 13bt into a series 2 rx7, purely because I am struggling to find an fc turbo box. My series 3 rx7 had a rx8 box in it when I bought it, I didn't like it because the speedo didn't link up.

2013年8月26日 · All the mx5 5 speeds, from '89-'05, will work with Rx7 s2 + s3 and n/a s4 + s5 boxes. Each box is made of 3 main sections, the bell housing, gear set and the tail housing, and all 3 sections are pretty much interchangeable.
