2010年6月3日 · My 79 RX-7 just recently developed an idling problem. I had the engine rebuilt last fall,and when I installed it again it ran great. A few weeks later it was stalling when I came to a stop sign,and the engine was dropping back to idle. It would fire right back up,and would do it again when dropping to idle. 2009年7月27日 · After cleaning the fast idle cam/spring/shaft assembly with CRC TB cleaner and 4 days of spraying the fast idle cam assembly with PB Blaster I can now "rotate" the fast idle cam by hitting it with a mallet via a screw driver. I can not rotate the fast idle cam with my fingers alone and the return spring will not overcome the friction.

2022年12月3日 · Pressure pump is getting 13.6V at idle. It's wired on a dedicated circuit with a 20A fuse through a relay controlled by the ECU. Lift pump is getting 12.8V at idle. It's powered by the original 1st gen rx7 harness that powered the original fuel pump for the carbed 12A.

2022年6月17日 · Especially at idle, where the base map was running +18 degrees of advance (vs. the stock ECUs -5 degrees). I put it back to the stock idle timing since that gave me the smoothest idle (some table smoothing will be required). His maps also had cruise at 14.7-15.2 AFR, which seems high to me.
