The RUF RT 12 is a sports car built by RUF Automobile of Germany and based on the 997-generation Porsche 911. Ruf introduced the model in Autumn 2004 at the Essen Motor Show as the first of their offerings built on Porsche 's then new 997 platform.

Porsche 997 Targa 4. The updated Targa 4 and Targa 4S models were announced on 28 July 2008. The Targa now had a glass roof made of a special glass that repelled UV rays from entering the car. The engine in the Targa 4 was now uprated at 345 PS (254 kW; 340 bhp) while for the Targa 4S, power was increased to 385 PS (283 kW; 380 hp).

The Targa was sent to Porsche tuning house RUF Automobile GmbH in December 2014 where it was fitted with RUF sport suspension, RUF strut tower brace, RUF exhaust with by-pass valve, RUF Motronic upgrade, RUF short shift gearchange and replacement catalytic pipe, creating an extremely potent and exciting 993 Targa in the process

2008年2月8日 · Alois Ruf and his team were inspired to build the RUF Roadster from a 1967 Porsche Targa. This 911 was equipped with an integrated roll cage which combines the safety of a Coupé with the fresh air feeling of a convertible.
