Became a bit of a plot device (and creepy background scenery) to make it really clear why they needed outsiders to come and mate with their women.

2020年10月11日 · Ruben, the Hårga’s oracle, is “a product of inbreeding” responsible for adding to the Rubi Radr, the cult’s gospel. Ruben appears in only a handful of scenes and never speaks, but his appearances are instructive, usually foreshadowing or interrupting an act of violence.
What do you think was the significance of the Oracle?
Ruben was born from intentional inbreeding. The knowledge and teachings of the cult come from their Oracles, who are “closer to the source”. Whether that source is a God figure or Satan/the devil. The cult is constantly producing books of Sacred scripture based upon interpretations of their Oracles drawings/paintings.
