Rowing, often called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. It differs from paddling sports in that rowing oars are attached to the boat using rowlocks, while paddles are not connected to the boat. Rowing is divided into two disciplines: sculling and sweep rowing.

Rowing is the act of propelling a human-powered watercraft using the sweeping motions of oars to displace water and generate reactional propulsion.

Our program is an inclusive, multi-level competitive and recreational rowing program offering coached sessions and affiliate access to rowing equipment appropriate for a variety of fitness levels. A skill assessment and swim test will be required for non-coached, on water rowing.
