2013年7月30日 · Rotary pumps produce constant pressure and is what you want (need) for an EFI set-up. Inline/pulse/solenoid pumps produce pressure in pulses, like your mechanical fuel pump and are fine for carbureted applications. Neither pump will help with drain-back unless equipped with a check valve. Some have internal checks, most do not.

2024年7月26日 · So fuel goes from tank via mechanical pump to the sump, then the electric fuel pump feeds the fuel injection which returns to the sump through a regulator. The sump then returns to the stock tank via stock fuel line. Super easy to toss a carb back on this way if you have to for some reason. But it's also a very proper way to do a fuel system.

2025年2月17日 · As for fuel injection we've had good success with the sniper but for tuning beyond the hand held tuner you will need to buy the appropriate cable and tune it with a laptop. By the time you buy the unit, splurge for a good tank with in tank pump, run the new lines etc. id go with a new or known Straight bore carb and you're up and running.

2024年12月19日 · Throttle response is instant, and it fires as soon as you hit the key, even on hot starts. Still need to drive it and I'm sure there will probably be a few hiccups to work through but so far I like it. I may swap to an in tank pump eventually. the ptfe fuel line is so nice to work with, goes together easy. i still need to tidy up the harness.

I am really impressed with the ease of the system and how well it works. And the best part for me is the that the powerjection system can use a s/c or t/c up to 21 psi!!

2011年8月17日 · 1) Make a mount for the electric pump near the gas tank, and install said electric pump (Mallory 4060FI) 2) Run a return line one size larger than the stock line. I haven't decided how I'm going to do this yet - the line needs to come out on the passenger side of the firewall, so it can go right up to the regulator near the back of the intake.
