2017年1月13日 · Thornton and Barte decided on National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) instead. On Dec. 16, 1985, they adopted the NATCA name and created the now iconic logo with a MEBA artist changing the name AATCC to NATCA.

With a history dating back to 1987, NATCA is dedicated to representing and protecting nearly 20,000 highly skilled air traffic controllers, engineers, and other aviation safety professionals across the country.

2015年12月21日 · Organizers agreed to adopt the AATCC logo as the new NATCA logo. MEBA artists used red letters and blue lines to create what you see today. June 19, 2012, marked NATCA’s 25th anniversary. In honor of this anniversary, the logo features a swooping, silver “25” on the bottom of it and the union’s years of existence etched across the top.
