2015年4月8日 · Use a sawzall or reciprocating saw same thing. You don't even have to dig, it will cut right thru the dirt and root. I use this method all the time by laying a 2x6 on the grond and running the saw through the dirt for many feet on both sides with a 12 inch blade.

If you find roots larger than 4 cm diameter, use a spade to clear the dirt from around the root as much as possible and then use a small chain saw to cut the roots on both sides of the hole. You'll probably have to resharpen the chain afterwards, but this is the still the fastest way.

That will establish a straight, square cut to follow the rest of the depth with an oscillating saw.
