2023年9月17日 · For those who used Roku 3 and Roku Express, is it worth upgrading from Roku 3 to Roku Express (3960R)? I currently have Roku 3 (‎4200R, 2014 model) and am looking for a faster loading speed and stability. I added a micro SD card to Roku 3, but the speed didn't increase at all, and Roku sometimes reboots itself while using Amazon Music.

2024年3月31日 · Roku 3 was a really solid streamer when first released in 2013. Since then later models have received additional capabilities and features, and have greatly expanded installed memory. Roku 3 is still supported by Roku and is capable of running the current version of the Roku operating software.

2024年7月26日 · The Roku 3 should work with the currently available Voice Remotes. There are two versions of the Roku 3, and while both are quite old they do both support WiFi Direct remotes. Most remotes that are labeled for Roku TV are IR based, and those will NOT work on a Roku player (they use different IR codes).

2024年9月29日 · There are 2 Roku servers my Roku 3 is trying to access that do not respond to pings while others do respond so am guess one or both are down.. 1, austin.sw.roku.com. 2, api.roku.com. Interestingly, "austin" is also the platform name of the Roku 3 4200X so a guess would be that this is where the problem lies.

2020年5月13日 · Looking for too long on this site, finding NO simple clear info on installing a Micro-SD card in the classic Roku 3 player. Note that the generic instruction to 'insert the card' makes no apparent sense for this model 4200X -- which has only 3 inputs on the back panel of the unit (Power, HDMI, Ethernet), and a USB port on the side.

This Roku remote feature didnt work with many tv brands when it was released, er the Roku 3 was updated with this feature. Originally the volume keys on the Roku 3 only controlled the headphone volume, but was updated to control certain tv brand's volume by cec.

2021年4月25日 · Could someone please tell me what the correct remote would be for the Roku 3. I have two of the new ones. One works with my Roku stick but the other does not work with my Roku 3. I get the Roku screen but the remote does not allow me to select anything, not apps or Home, Search, Settings, etc. Also says in the top right corner "not connected".
