The Talleys were a southern gospel trio composed of Roger and Debra Talley, and their daughter Lauren Talley as the lead and soprano singer. Performing over 20 years, they have made appearances all over the world.

The Talleys began in 1984 and enjoyed many years of success, including a Dove Award and numerous Singing News Fan Awards. Following a three-year hiatus, the Talleys began performing together in 1996 with the current lineup of Roger, wife Debra and daughter Lauren, and today the Talleys remain a mainstay of Christian music.

Roger and Debra agreed to leave the Hoppers and Kirk resigned from the Cathedrals in late 1983. Billed simply as "The Talleys," the new trio launched in January 1984. They released two table projects that year before ultimately settling at the legendary Canaan Records label.
