300 PRC Retumbo | Long Range Only
2024年9月17日 · I think it was around 74.0. The Hodgdon site calculates starting at 70.7 as the start, and 76.4 as the max. I found that start to be WAY low, and the max to be overly conservative. I shoot 77.4 of Retumbo, and routinely hit a 1-mile target out of my Barrett MRAD and MPA-BA ... both rifles love this load. No pressure signs, just great results.

2012年2月1日 · I have read on a few sites that the 25-06 is easy to load for and will take many diffrent powders well. I also found many to say that the H4831sc was a great powder for the 25-06 however many felt it worked best pushing bullets under 100gr and that Retumbo was a better choice for the heavier bullets of 100gr and larger. What say yal? Thank's, Brad

2012年8月9日 · The ES's are generally pretty wide and with H1000 (which is my number one choice) I can usually get very close to or the same velocity as Retumbo. With H1000 it seems much easier to get low ES. Retumbo has the infamous pressure spike at or near max load that can suddenly send your velocity up 75-100 fps.
