2022年12月20日 · Single and double clicks on the icon or the X did not change anything, nor did it turn mic on. When I use my keyboard shortcut to turn the mic on, the normal box, pointing to the insertion point turns on, with the word done underneath as normal. While I use the microphone, the red mic box slides to R, off the screen.

It is a red, blinking mic icon, in the top of the home screen page and all other pages.When you touch the icon I am taken to Garage band that I use a lot. 2023年11月30日 · I did some fiddling around with my mic settings when "Hey, Siri" wasn't working upon activation. Another issue (possibly related) is that when texting, talk-to-text is automatic. So, even if someone else in the room says something while I'm texting, their words are entered into the chat window. Help, please! Thanks.

2020年4月28日 · Similar problem in iPad pro: After using Google Meet (App) I ALWAYS have a red mic icon in the centre at the very top of the screen when using Safari. It makes it look like some app is still holding the mic. I have tried shutting down all apps, but the only way to get rid of the errant icon is to power cycle the iPad pro.
