If person A gives person B a recommendation, can you call A recommender and B recommendee— or are these words made up? I've seen both forms used in everyday language (e.g. magazines), but never in a dictionary or grammar book, or in literature. One of my recommenders did that (print/sign/scan and upload) but the others just uploaded the pdf version "printed" from the doc version of the letter.

2011年11月30日 · For information: One of the law schools I contacted re my LoR/LSAC problem (see earlier post) has answered that they will accept my recommender's re-sent LoR even if it will only arrive after the deadline, as long as the application itself was within the deadline. However, my recommender will have to send it to LSAC and not them directly.
