Are Recalbox and Retropie themes interchangeble? : r/RetroPie
2018年4月20日 · RetroPie themes should be able to used in Recalbox but it's possible that a RetroPie theme may not work out of the box. For example, RetroPie's version of ES supports theme variables that I believe the Recalbox version doesn't. In this case, the XML files of a theme would need to be edited to remove the theme variables for it to work in Recalbox.
Would it be hard to port the recalbox theme to retropie?
Recalbox and RetroPie both use EmulationStation as the front-end (wait, you already said that). So why don't you try it? To be more specific on my experiences going the other way around, there are some EmulationStation features that Recalbox does not support since the EmulationStation version in Recalbox is from probably a year ago.

8bitdo-on-recalbox compatible-devices (so i m aware I m in uncharted territory. I use a Raspberry Pi 5 with the latest version of Recalbox The 2.4Ghz pairing seem to be working but controller it'sn't recognized on my recalbox running on a pi5. When I try remapping a controller and start pressing buttons, nothing is detected.

2022年6月21日 · Can’t remember the exact thing, but I think it was related to sound issues & general clunkiness of the UI (IMO), compared to Bato. I like a couple of Batocera’s themes a lot (Carbon is fine once I tinkered with the settings and made it closer to something I like). Recalbox- I think I just couldn’t get past the sound not working right for me.

2018年5月7日 · I found since I put a new image of Recalbox on my pi, hardly any themes tend to work. I am on version 18.04.20 and most every theme I try these days just crashes the front end. The only ones I have gotten to work it seems are AleKFULL, Comicbook, and Retrorama. Has anyone else run into this issue? For example, none of these work at all.
