2016年2月23日 · I've always thought of them as hands and feet. As moonkissed said, the dexterity they exhibit in holding food and such really makes them seem more like hands than paws. Their feet also have a lot more movement than paws. Plus it's just cute to think of them as having little hands

2009年2月2日 · Hi there, my male rat (un-neutered) Yang has started to rub his paws on the floor and in his cage. I have only noticed him do this before if he got something sticky on his paws like honey which I give them occasionally. But he has been doing this rubbing for the past few days now and I'm not sure what it is. Can anyone help?

2018年9月10日 · Personally I think its perfectly safe, there is no more of a chance of the rats getting a nail caught than with regular fleece. Felt doesn't unravel and like fleece its easy to wash and dry. Its soft on their paws and lets them sleep comfortably and best of all the pre-cut rectangles are easy to make into instant hammocks.

2012年3月15日 · My rats front paw has become very swollen and she's having trouble walking on it, but still can use it to grab things and groom herself. It doesnt seem to be bumblefoot. I canont afford a vet visit right now, has anyone come across this before?

2013年4月6日 · Oxbow Regal Rat and Harlan Teklad are good blocks. Feeding fresh veggies and fruit is good for them but it's hard to be able to balance a diet with human food alone. (I know that there is a moderator here that only feeds human food, but they are very knowledgeable about what constitutes a balanced rat diet.)
