2023年2月26日 · Rapier will generally be better by a very small margin on low defense monsters. If your attack is low or you have bad gear, fang closes the gap a lot as well. Fang is much, much better against high defense monsters and bosses. If you are genuinely doing nothing other than general low def slayer, rapier might be fine.

Rapier has better strength bonus, and hits 20% more often (faster attack speed), which makes it quite a bit better for slayer and other lower defense mobs. This is a very old question and has been asked many times.

As for which one is best and what build, well it depends. Speedrunners get the minimum stats to wield it, then infuse and buff it with dark.

2021年7月4日 · the rapier is the best melee weapon for almost everything (if you dont include the scythe) the only bosses that arent weak to it off the top of my head is kq, nightmare, tob or dragons (in which you could use the dragon hunter lance). its absolutely worth the price

2022年12月2日 · Blood Antspur Rapier would be a solid pick as you could stack the 2 exhalations and spear talisman for high damage and double status effects. Status is good for PvP mind games especially in invasions and scarlet rot is great for high HP enemies and bosses.

2023年5月26日 · You should use the rapier for slayer hands down. The fang is a tick slower than rapier. The fang also calculates damages differently(it only can max 85% of its max hit) I did a quick calculation and the max hit for fang would be around 52-54. The max hit for rapier 57-59. Rapier is also a tick faster making it the far superior choice.

2020年6月18日 · Rapier’s are thrust weapons and they’re quick attacks so don’t expect most enemies to be staggered very much if at all, which is why you’ll want to be able to parry attacks pretty well. Starting class, swordsman probably, do whatever you want for the gift but the healing items would probably be nice.
