I run quad RTX 6000s, quad A6000s, six systems with dual 3090s, two with dual 4090s, and coworkers run at least two legit supercomputers. Ask me anything. The answer is we don't run games on them. No, I will not elaborate.

2021年4月22日 · Obviously the GPU market demand has well outpaced supply, hence the ridiculous scalping and price gouging on common mid-to-high-level cards we would use for solid mining returns. Rather than pay 200-300% MSRP for an 3060-3090, I've thought about just bucking up for an RTX 8000 (~$5000)... Any idea what the Mh/s would be on a card like this?

2024年2月13日 · I think the big challenge will be finding a similar deal to OP. I just looked online and RTX 8000s are showing going for $3500 a piece. Without a good deal, just buying 4 of the cards alone with no supporting hardware would cost $14,000. Then you'd still need the case, power supplies, cpu, etc.

2024年4月11日 · Theoretically 2-way SLI should double performance, which would take 2x RTX 8000 into (roughly) 4090 territory. In practice SLI never lead to a straight 100% increase, best case was more like 80-90%. And then there were all the scenarios where SLI didn't come anywhere near a performance doubling and/or caused various performance problems.
